V86®: Two hot winning candidates from the hot stable

Life on the racetracks is good for Hans Crebas. The form of his stable has never been better.
On Wednesday, he has two chances in V86®, which is split between Solvalla and Åby.
"Both Unicon and Norris are in top form and are given on the ticket," says the Axevalla trainer.

Hans Crebas has improved his numbers each year, both as a trainer and a driver. He has kick-started this year. In just over 50 starts, the stable has 10 wins and is soon surpassing SEK 1 million in earnings.
”I had a good feeling going into this year for quite some time. I think we have very nice horses, and I feel more and more comfortable with what I'm doing. I also have very good, committed staff, and our routines work well for both horses and people. The training conditions have been great all winter, and we come well prepared for what awaits us," says Hans Crebas.
Half of the stable's 50 horses are three years old or younger, a good mix.
"I'm pleased with how the stable looks now. Almost all our 3-year-olds have qualified, and several have raced successfully. I hope some of them can race in the bigger stake races, based on how they feel in training. Even a few of the older racehorses have shown progress lately. It will be interesting to start racing a horse like Edvard Palema. He raced in the United States, and he feels extraordinary, we aim to have him ready for The Kings Trophy."

Feels awesome right now
On Wednesday, Crebas makes the trip to Åby, who co-hosts this week's V86® card together with Solvalla. The Axevalla trainer will be heavily used with his two starters. Especially 9 Norris (V86-7), who now has three convincing wins in a row.
"She feels awesome right now. This mare has been fantastic and has won without having to go all out, and I haven't even pulled anything on her. Norris feels at least as good in training after her last start, and she keeps showing progress."
She starts from the second tier this week. Does that worry you?
"Well, being in the first tier is always an advantage if your horse can leave fast. Norris doesn't need the lead, she is versatile like that, strong and tough."
What do you think of her chances?
"I'm optimistic. I have one of the better horses in the race. The way it looks to me, there will be plenty of speed in this race, that helps us. The plan is to race her in V75 at Bjerke on March 15, so this race comes at a good time."

Has surprised
4 Unicon (V86-3) should also go on the V86 ticket. The 4-year-old has shown good qualities in his young career.
"He has surprised me. I didn't think much of him when he came to us last summer. We started by castrating him, and then we have been able to train him according to our program. We train a lot, but slow. He has absorbed the training in a very good way, and he just keeps getting better and better.”
"He was very good when he won in his last start. I had a good hold of him throughout the race, and he had plenty left in his tank."
How does he feel after these four starts?
"Good, he feels fine. It feels like every start makes him better."
Can he leave fast?
"He left well last time out, and post four at Åby is a great post. I will leave with him, and plan A is to race him in the lead, but he races well with any type of trip."
Is Unicon also a hot winning candidate?
"I have a good horse in this race, and I think he should go early on the ticket."
