V86® (Super Jackpot): Eriksson could have the solution

On Wednesday there is a Super Jackpot on V86®.
Someone who might sit on the solution is Christoffer Eriksson.
"I have a lot of faith in Longgone River. He's a future top horse" says the Jägersro trainer.

Things are moving at a high pace for Christoffer Eriksson at the moment. He commutes between his farm in Lottentorp and France, where he currently has seven horses stabled. The star of the stable Rackham has raced twice down there and he finished second in his last outing.
"He really likes it down there. He finished second in his first start, but the judges didn't like his gait so he was disqualified. That was rough, so it was nice to get some revenge last time. I will enter him to the first of the B races, Prix de Bretagne in November. He might not get in as his lifetime earnings are not that high, but I want to try and I hope he gets in. He raced against the best horses in Sweden and he has shown that he is good enough and I am not afraid to race him in a race like that" says Christoffer Eriksson.
"I think all the horses have done well down there. Loveexplosion H.C. has finished second and Hurricane River has already won. And Ingo keeps impressing, he has made SEK 2.5 million so far in France".
With horses in two different countries, the logistics are important.
"Right now, my girlfriend Isabella is there with our daughter and I am traveling back and forth. It works out well. I have good staff and they have been with me for a long time, so we have built up a good routine together that we are all very comfortable with".

Two horses who can win
On Wednesday, there is a super jackpot on V86 where a sole winner could take home SEK 27 million. Christoffer Eriksson sends up two horses to Solvalla and lets Erik Adielsson drive.
"It's a long trip if I were to drive myself and my schedule is already tight the way it is. There are plenty of good drivers and it was just better to put Erik down on them this time" says the trainer.
It sounds on Christoffer like Erik has two pretty good chances.
"4 Longgone River (V86-4) is a very nice horse. When he won in his second start he trotted 1:12 the last kilometer without being particularly tired. He is actually better than Rackham was at this point in his career. Longgone River got worse this past summer and had muscular problems and he got some time off and lost some condition. Had he been able to race without that time off, I'm sure he would have been in the bigger races for three-year-olds. He is that good. He was super when he won his last start in Kalmar and I think he feels even better after that start. I trained him last Friday and I have never felt him better".
Can he leave fast?
"Not really. He is more strong than quick and the strongest part of the race is at the end for him. We have never tried leaving hard with him and we have never really had the chance to try. The tactics are up to Erik".
How do you like his chances to win?
"I like them a lot. Longone River is a very good horse, one of the better horses in my stable and his future should be bright if he just stays sound and healthy. They have to be good to beat him".
"4 Ipanema Beach (V86-6) is in very good form too. Last time out, he got bad cover and closed well. That was a short-distance race and now it's 500 meters longer, which is an advantage. I think she is good and I think she should end up fighting for the win".
