V86® (jackpot): Tarzan's royally bred three-year-old filly

Last time out she was close to the winner Glamorous Rain in the Breeders´ Crown final.
Imhatra Am is climbing up fast towards the top among the three-year-old fillies.
Stefan Melander gives us a positive report going into the Wednesday start on V86®.

V86® this week is being split between Solvalla and Bjerke, Norway. At the Swedish capital track, the three-year-olds are in the spotlight as Kriteriumrevanchen and Oaksrevanchen are being contested. A hot bid in the latter race in Stefan Melander's 2 Imhatra Am (V86-2).
After having started her career off in the USA for Stefan’s nephew Marcus Melander, she has now made six starts in Sweden for Tarzan and she has already made a name for herself. In her last start, in the Breeders Crown final in Eskilstuna she came up with a strong finishing rally to finish third, not beaten by much by the winner Glamorous Rain. That was after having made up a lot of ground after an early break in her elimination.
"She feels very good and she is in really good form, she raced great in Eskilstuna. In the elimination she got interferred with a little bit and made a break but came back strongly. I have no complaints,  everything is well with her" says Stefan Melander.

A royally bred three-year-old
There is no doubt that there is blue blood running in Inhatra Am's veins. Her sire is the phenom Muscle Hill and her dam is Tamla Celeber, one of the best race mares in Swedish history. She made SEK 8 million throughout her racing career.
"I think she will be a good horse. We will see how her future looks, we might race her in E3 Revanchen too, but we will make this start first at least".
She should be very intersting for next year?
"Of course she has to develop further to be in the top of her division next year, but she is good already now. Her pedigree is first class. She knows exactly what to do, Marcus has taught her well over there and she has no problems with distances longer than a mile. She doesn't 'count the steps' as many U.S. imports tend to do, some seem to think the race is over once they have trotted 1,600 meters but she is very intellegent".
She drew a perfect post position behind the gate this time?
"The post position is good and she can leave OK, but all that is up to Mats Djuse. There is no rush, she will get a good position and can handle most type of trips".
Melander has one more filly in Oaksrevanchen (V86-2). 9 Swept Wing has not made as much money so far, even if she has shown that she is pretty good lately. Three starts ago she broke her maiden.
"She is actually pretty good this filly, she is a nice filly who keeps getting better and better. She was locked in two starts ago and in her last start she closed very well. I don't think she will beat Imhatra Am here, but she has a post position that will get her a good stalking trip and she could end up in the top three".

A bit of a disappointment considering her pedigree
The Solvalla trainer has one more starter on V86. That is the four-year-old mare 6 Low Visibility who comes out in the fourth leg. She is a well-bred mare who after 13 starts still is a maiden.
"I think it will be tough for Low Visibility to win, she is nothing for the bettors to worry about this time. I don't know what was wrong with her last time out, maybe she just had a bad day. She has been a bit of a disappointment considering her pedigree, but i thought it looked like she was on the right path two starts ago. She will keep on racing for a while and then we will see if she will get bred or keep on racing. If she is fourth or fifth in here then I'm happy".
