V86® (jackpot): "On his way to becoming the best horse I have trained"

Invisible Sun is an extremely capable horse who could climb through the classes.
This Wednesday when V86® comes with another jackpot, the race looks good on paper for him.
"He is a very capable horse. I think he drops down in class a bit here" says trainer Per Linderoth.

Per Linderoth is on a bit of a roll right now. The stable constantly delivers winners, and Per is also doing well as a catch driver.
"Things are going well and the horses we have raced have raced well, and a horse like Young Mistress has developed nicely and I hope she can continue doing so. As a driver, I drive when I can and I don't have any certain trainer that I drive for, I just drive when I can, as I said. My focus is on my own stable, but of course, it's nice when the driving is going well too" says Per Linderoth.
It was a different story when the stable was infested by mold a couple of years ago.
"Yes, those were tough times. It took a long time before we found the problem, and it also took time to get it taken care of. The horses felt good in training at home, but as soon as they raced, they underperformed. We had strangles in the stable about ten to twelve years ago, that was also tough and it's not something I wish to happen to anyone, it takes a toll on everyone involved".

On his way to becoming the best
This Wednesday, V86® is shared between Solvalla and Bergsåker and another jackpot is in play. A sole winner can take home a whopping SEK 25 million.
Per Linderoth trains and drives 8 Invisible Sun, who will be the favorite in V86-7.
"As he should be, I think. He's a very capable horse and I think he drops down in class a bit here".
After his last victory, you said that he could be the best horse you have ever trained?
"Yes, in the class he is right now, he is the best. He still has a lot of money left to make, compared to his talent, but he needs to do it too. His effort two starts ago after he made a break was incredible, and he showed that he can trot fast, and maintain that speed for a long time".
At which point did you feel that he was an extraordinary horse?
"I felt it early. He raced well for Kolgjini too before coming to us, he showed a lot of speed for them but also made many breaks. Now, he has gotten older and matured".
How does he feel in training?
"Good, but usually you see and hear him when he comes, but lately he has been a bit more mellow. When he last won, it was 25 degrees. When I trained him last time, it was 4 degrees. It affects everyone, him too, and that's why I chose to skip the STL finals this weekend".
Do the bettors need to worry?
"No, I don't think so. He feels the way he should and he looks great. I guess it's the same thing for horses as it is for us humans; it's not as much fun to get up in the morning when it's cold out".
Lastly, you also drive 5 Rönningsgutten in V86-5, what do we need to know?
"He was a bit lazy last time out. His overcheck was not the correct length, so he couldn't get his gait together. We will change that now and he's a capable horse when things go his way. He could be a nice surprise".
