V86®: Interesting spot for Putte: "I have no worries"

Two V75® wins in a short period of time. Putte has been on a roll lately.
Anders Svanstedt's talented 4-year-old returns to Åby and it looks interesting for him on V86®.

Wednesday means V86®. This week, Åby Racetrack is co-hosting the pick eight with Solvalla and Anders Svanstedt makes the trip to the west coast track with one horse. And it is not just any horse, it is the 4-year-old gelding 7 Putte (V86-7) who has had a successful season with 7 wins in 14 starts.
Last time out, in a tough Class 2 final at Solvalla, he had no luck from a bad post position, though.
"Nah, we had no racing luck at all, we had to go first out three wide with 400 meters to go, then he was interfered with and lost all the momentum, so the race was over for us there. But he finished with the earplugs in his ears and had nothing to be ashamed of" says Anders Svanstedt.
Putte finished fifth in his Derby elimination three starts ago, and he has also won twice on V75 in a short period of time. After he won at Mantorp at the beginning of August, he won the Swedish championship for youth drivers together with Tom Johansson two starts ago.
"He was very good that day and he was actually just as good in his last start, even if things didn't work out in the race".

S:t Leger next on the schedule
This week he races on V86. Putte is in tough on the money this time, but on the contrary, he drew a good post position.
"The outside post position in volt start is good for him. He is very quick and we hope to make it to the lead, then we will see if I will race him there or if I let someone go. He is versatile and races well with any trip" says Anders and adds:
"Since it's a volt start race, he has to race in a regular style sulky this time, but he has raced well in that sulky too, and as I said, my horse is very versatile and always races well, regardless of sulky and bridle".
So, this feels like a good spot for your horse?
"It's a tough class, the horses on the starting distance are allowed up to SEK 840,000 in earnings and there are tough horses starting 20 meters behind us too. But my horse is in very good form and I have no worries, my feeling is that he will race very well".
What does Putte's schedule look like after this start?
"We have a plan, actually, to race him in the S:t Leger (a three-kilometer race at Åby, open for 4-year-olds eds note) next time, that is in three weeks and that's why I chose to race him here despite the tough class. We are aiming for that next start and this will be a step on the way".
