V86®: Hoping for the fourth straight win

Five starts for her new trainer have resulted in four wins.
Mitzy Gold seems to love her life at the Oskar Kylin Blom stable. Together they are chasing their fourth straight win on V86®.

V86® is back as the highlight of Wednesday night.
The first V86 card of the new year is being shared between Jägersro and Solvalla. The Gävle licensed trainer Oskar Kylin Blom makes the short trip to Solvalla with one V86 starter. The five-year-old mare 1 Mitzy Gold (V86-2) has shown phenomenal form since she joined the Kylin Blom stable. The daughter of Raja Mirchi has made five starts for her new trainer and won four of them. She ships into Solvalla on Wednesday with three straight wins from the lead.
"She has been great lately and everything seems well after her last start. She was much calmer in the race than in the start prior, when she got a bit too wound up. I have to say that it feels pretty good going into this start, she can leave well and we will try to hold up the lead" says Oskar.
She trotted off easily last time out, she was nowhere near tired the way it looked?
"No, she wasn't. I pulled down the pull-down-bridle at the end, mostly because I wanted to be sure to win the driving title at Gävle...but she responded very well to that and it feels good knowing that we have that extra gear when we need it, but like I said she was absolutely not tired".

Has blossomed for her new trainer
Mitzy Gold started her career for Stig H Johansson and then moved on to Claes Sjöström. Since the mare came to Kylin Blom, she has really blossomed and shown her big potential.
"Yes, she seems to fit in well with our training concept, at the same time she's in a barn with only three horses here. Maybe it was good for her to come to a smaller stable, it has worked out well and she has developed more and more. We treated her up when she came, but other than that she has just trained in the sand like we train all our horses".
Mitzy Gold will be the favorite on V86 this Wednesday.
The conditions on Wednesday are similar to the ones in her last start at Gävle, with the inside post behind the gate on the short distance. Last time she took the lead easily. A perfect post this time then?
"It feels so, yes. I was actually a bit worried before her last start because I didn't think she left that fast from the inside post with volt start, three starts ago. Then she left fast the start after from post six behind the gate, so I wasn't sure how she would handle the inside post. But she left very fast and I think the inside post is better at Solvalla than at Gävle. So it feels like we should be able to hold up the lead".
So her chances of winning are very good?
"Yes, I think so. I'm very happy with her" says Oskar Kylin Blom.
