V75 (Sunday): Steen Juul with several chances in Aalborg
Aalborg is hosting V75 on Sunday when Winter Burst visits our western neighbor.
Steen Juul is the nestor of Danish trotting, and he can fix some delayed Christmas gifts for himself.
He has several interesting chances on paper.
"I don't think any of my horses are chanceless in V75. A couple of them can win with some racing luck. Frodo Cash has been fantastic this year and was completely unused in his last start," says Juul.
Winter Burst rolls on and the turn has now come to Aalborg, Denmark on Sunday. At this modern 1,000-meter track, one should be aware that the home stretch is 250 meters long, compared with Axevalla, which has the longest home stretch in Sweden, 227 meters.
Steen Juul is the nestor in Danish trotting and the most successful trainer of all time in Denmark. This year, he celebrates 50 years as a trainer and he is still going strong. Juul trains 37 horses and makes the five-hour-long trip from Copenhagen to Aalborg with four V75 starters.
