V75® (Sunday): "He sure is one class better in the lead"

Stoletheshow has not lost many races from the lead.
On Sunday, a lot of things suggest that he will reach his favorite position in Finlandia-Ajo.
"He sure is one class better in the lead. I think he has a good chance to win" says trainer Frode Hamre.

V75® both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The Sunday races will be held at Vermo racetrack in Finland where the rich Finlandia-Ajo race attracts the most interest. The winner will be given an invitation to Elitloppet. Daniel Redén's Don Fanucci Zet has already received his pink invitation ticket and he drew a tricky post position 10 in the second tier which opens up for other horses like Frode Hamre's Stoletheshow, who starts from post position 4. Stoletheshow got his true breakthrough in the elite last year.
"He's a fantastic horse in every way. A true professional, and I think he is just as good this year" says Frode Hamre.
Stoletheshow loves racing in the lead and a lot suggests that he can reach his favorite position on Sunday since he is very quick out of the gate.
"He sure is one class better in the lead and I hope he gets there this time. He made a break last time out and we have no good explanation as to why. He trained earlier this week and was very good".
He won Oslo Grand Prix last year, is he just as good now?
"I think so. He has gotten a few starts in his legs and feels very good and I have to be optimistic going into Sunday, especially when Don Fanucci Zet drew in the second tier and if I know Örjan correctly, he will just save his horse's speed until the end since his horse is already invited to Elitloppet".

As talented as Stoletheshow
You also have 2 Hede Darling in the race, how does he match up with these horses?
"He's a very capable horse. Looking at talent alone, he is just as good as Stoletheshow. Hede Darling made a break in his last start because we raced him without an overcheck just as he has raced in France. That did not work out and he made a break. We are going back to the same equipment he had at Axevalla two starts ago when he raced really well. The post position is perfect and I won't be surprised if ends up in the photo".
If either of your horses would win and get an Elitlopp invitation, what would your answer be?
"That's a decision I have to make together with the owner in that case. This year's Elitlopp edition is probably the toughest in many years. France comes with their A-team and there are several other good horses".
At last, you also have 2 Access in V75-4, how good is he?
"He's a good four-year-old. Last time out, things went wrong and he made a break. He is normally a safe horse. He has plenty of talent and was good when he won and he trains well. I think he will give us a good effort and then we have to see how far that takes him".
