V75®: Jakobsson's speedy horse can beat them all

A tricky post position.
But if things work out they have to be good to beat him.
Always A Pleasure can beat them all when he makes his V75® debut on Saturday.
"He is one of the fastest horses I have trained" says Magnus Jakobsson.

8 Always A Pleasure (V75-2) has won six out of his nine starts. All six wins have come from the lead. Last time out, he took the lead immediately, and after having trotted the last 500 meters at 1:07 speed, he left his opponents behind and won in splendid isolation.
"He felt awesome last time. I never even showed him the whip, I hollered at him in the last turn and he just took off. It was a great feeling" says the trainer of this speedy five-year-old horse, Magnus Jakobsson in this week's episode of the podcast 'V75 - lördag hela veckan'.
"He is extremely quick and well-gaited. He's a very nice horse".

The form is on its way up
On Saturday, Always A Pleasure will make his first start in the Swedish Trotting League and V75. He starts in Class 2 and this time he will not take the lead. He drew post position eight, the inside post of the second tier in volt start, and Magnus Jakobsson has split feelings about it.
"It's both good and bad I guess. It's his first time against really good horses, so getting a nice trip it's not all bad. Then, of course, we can get into traffic trouble and I would have preferred a post position upfront, had I gotten the chance to choose myself".
There is no doubt that the horse races well from behind. In his seasonal debut, he started with a 20-meter handicap and made a break shortly after the start, but came back to finish second after a powerful move down the backside.
"If we can get a covered up trip until the top of the stretch, he is very hard to hold off, I think. His form should be better with a couple of starts in his legs and he has felt great after his last start too, so I think he will race very well".

"He was completely unused"
Besides Always A Pleasure, Magnus Jakobsson has an interesting drive as he once again gets call behind the Stefan P Pettersson trained 2 Comes With Age (V75-1). The six-year-old gelding finished second in the bronze division final two starts ago and in his most recent outing, he made a break with nowhere to go in the same class.
"He suddenly just got rough gaited and rolled over into a break, without being tired or anything. It was very surprising. Maybe the track had something to do with it. A lot of horses made breaks that day" says Magnus Jakobsson, who besides the break was happy with the horse.
"He felt strong when he made the break. he was completely unused at that point".
Comes With Age races in the bronze division once again, this time from post position two behind the gate over the short distance.
"He's a very nice horse. He is quick out of the gate and if he could take the lead, I'm sure that would work out well".
