V75® (Friday): The Untersteiners are extra focused

It has become a tradition with V75 on the night before Christmas Eve.
For the second year in a row, the races are being held in Halmstad and the Untersteiner stable comes well-prepared and ready.
"We have 11 horses racing and I wouldn't be surprised if we get a couple of wins" says Peter Untersteiner.

A year has soon gone by since Peter and Johan Untersteiner merged their businesses and formed Team Untersteiner. After a pretty slow start, things have indeed picked up in the last few months.
"We have had very good form on the horses for four months now. It started off a bit slow before the entire organization got set. We have worked hard and never panicked" says Peter Untersteiner.
The fact that Peter himself had some health issues is no secret.
"A year ago I was really suffering, but now I am doing well and I feel completely healthy. I don't travel as much now and I don't work as many hours as I used to, I keep it at a normal level so that I have time to do other things too. I have to commend Johan who gives it his all at all times".

Extra focus on this evening
V75 on the night before Christmas Eve has become a tradition. This year again, Halmstad is the host and that means that the Untersteiners have their horses extra sharp.
"We have put some extra focus into this evening and I think it looks exciting. The horses feel good in training and we have every reason to be optimistic".
The first one out is 3 Game Brodde (V75-1) who won the E3-revenge in Kalmar in his last start.
"He is one notch below the best ones in the crop and he is really good right now and continues to feel strong in training. I believe in another good effort from him and he should be considered a winning candidate".
"11 Denco's Galliano (V75-1) is also in good form. We can just forget about his last start. Two starts ago he was very good and everything indicates that we will see a good effort from him again. Unfortunately, he drew a bad post position".
Another horse who drew poorly is 8 Heart Of Steel (V75-3).
"From a better post, he would have probably been the favorite and had a good chance to win. I haven't given up despite the post position. He feels good and faces opponents he can beat. It looks like there might be some battling for the lead, which would benefit us".
In the following two legs, Peter lays low.
"3 Global Champion (V75-4) was locked in two starts ago. Last time out, things didn't work out at all. We think he struggled with the surface. He's a big-gaited horse and he just couldn't get his gait together. He feels good in training so we are trying again. I will give him a nice trip and at best he could finish top three".
"8 Love Håleryd (V75-5) is better than he looks on paper. He is winless this year and it will be tough from that post position".

Have aimed for this race
In V75-6 the stable sends out five horses and Johan's choice was 3 Bikana Wine.
"She's a very nice three-year-old filly who has done everything right so far. She hasn't raced in a while, but we have aimed for this race and I think she should have a good chance to win".
"4 Henessi Jubilee won her last start without impressing. It was an OK effort. After that she has stepped it up and she trains well".
"11 Precious Lane has also stepped up lately and she was good when she won her last start. She always does her best and I expect a good effort from her".
"13 Primadonna Tile was a bit soft last time out. She trains OK, but as she's coming off a softer effort she is hard to assess".
"15 Aperol Broline made a break in the first turn, last time out and she can be a bit tricky at times. She is good for the class, but from this post position she needs lots of racing luck".
Lastly, they have 5 Readly's Dream (V75-7) who Peter wants to put out a warning for.
"She has had some bad luck in the last few starts. She trains well and was very good when she trained at the racetrack a few days ago and everything suggests that will come up with a good effort this time".
