V75®: Berglund brings a strong squad to Boden

When V75® goes to Boden this Saturday, a truckload of horses ships in from Östersund.
Oscar Berglund has five starters on the V75 card and thinks the bettors need to be aware of all of them.
"Beacon Kronos is by far the best chance we have, but I don't think any of the others should be written off".

V75® is making the trip to the northernmost racetrack in the country this Saturday.
Shipping into race at Boden is Oscar Berglund. The Östersund licensed trainer sends five of his horses and says that all five should go on the ticket.
There is no doubt about which one he thinks has the best chance to win.
The powerful 3 Beacon Kronos (V75-5) has been a reoccurring subject in the STL lately. The gelding won the Silver division in Skellefteå at the end of July but has not had much luck since then. In his most recent start, Beacon Kronos sat at the rear end of the field from a bad post position but closed well in a fast finish.
This time, the race looks almost perfect on paper for him.
"He races great every time without really having any luck lately. He closed incredibly well last time out and he always brings his A-game. It looks good on paper this time and that's nice, he has, as I said, had some bad luck and we have just raced him to prepare him for future starts so to speak. We hope we can collect now instead and he drew a perfect post, all feels good with the horse and it looks like a good chance to win," says Oscar.
Are you making any equipment changes for this start?
"Yes, he will race with a blind bridle for the first time. We have waited for the right opportunity to try that, and now we will do it".

Suitable conditions for Jackpot
Berglunds starts Saturday with 1 Cleveland Broline (V75-1) in Class 1.
A 4-year-old used to winning races who, after a short break, was back to his winning ways last time out at Solänget.
"Cleveland Broline got a bit sore after the Dannero start two starts ago on a rough track, and he returned last time out. He wasn't trained to be sharp for that start, but he raced great. Normally, it should improve him and he should be as good as he possibly can on Saturday. He didn't draw very well, he's very fast out of the gate, so that's a bummer, but Magnus Djuse can usually find the right path through. We hope that he will this time too, then the horse is good enough to be battling for the win".
4 Jackpot (V75-4) is another horse with lots of talent.
He got a tough, wide trip, in his most recent start. It looks interesting on paper this time, with the stayer distance and volt start.
"Jackpot was great last time out, it's tough to go out wide in the turns in those races. It was too tough for him, but he hung in there and this time, the conditions are better for him with volt start and the long distance. He can make himself justice better then and use his best features. The post position is OK, he can leave fast and it looks interesting".

Finally the right post for No Limit Express
9 Sandsjöns Amazing (V75-6) is the stable'
hope in the leg of Diamantstoet.
She raced at Umåker last Friday and was making a move when a break ruined her chances.
"Ove A Lindqvist, who drove, said the break was his fault, that he overdrove her, which was unnecessary, of course. That's racing and she showed that she's in good form, at least. She didn't get a whole race in her legs but she got some speed into them and I hope that will improve her further, even if her strength is her best feature. I think she is good enough for a race like this, then we will see how the trip works out".
The last one out from the strong Berglund squad is 5 No Limit Express (V75-7).
"A horse who rarely outs in a clunker. No exception last time out at her home track. No Limit Express fought hard outside the leader.
"He always shows up and usually ends up fighting for the win. Now, he finally drew well in V75. He has had terrible post positions all summer. He can leave fast and it will be interesting to see what Magnus will do with him from a good post, he is very quick out of the gate, and we can hope that he gets the lead, in that case, he will be hard to beat. Either way, the horse feels good and I think he will end up battling for the win".
It looks like an exciting Saturday for you. Do you think any one of your five horses stands out as a better chance to win?
"Yes, Beacon Kronos is by far the best chance for us. But I don't think any of the others should be written off either, maybe Jackpot is the second-best chance, before No Limit Express," says Oscar Berglund.
